If you have never tried out these little guys, you may want to give a set a try. I finally broke my 3/4 wrench and they sent me a new one. Great company to deal with. They have given their permission to post in the vendor section if we wish. www.gearwrench.com

Give them a look next time you are surfing. I have seven sets so far.

I have a couple sets of Craftsman traditional open end + gear drive box wrenches and I think they are great. I like what I see at the site Terry posted and will be looking into a set.

I have a set of Stanley wratcheting wrenches in metric and standard. I've only managed to break one of them and it was pretty much on purpose, and I got a whole new set for free. They are tough and pay for themselves with the time they save you.

My kids got me 2 years ago a complete STD & Metric set for Xmas. I use them all the time. Many years ago (20+) I had a Craftsman set that was junk.

Fyi - sears will now take back gearwrench brand wrenches, since they carry them in stock individually. They carry there own lifetime warranty, but otherwise you would have to ship them in when they break. This is true at my local sears at least, may want to check with yours. The gearwrench brand reversible wrenches are about half the price of the craftsman ones, exp when there on sale.

Nicest ones I've seen so far are from SK called G-Pro. These ones are extremely well designed, but the price is the most expensive I've seen.

I've owned a couple different brands of combination ratcheting wrenches, and all have proven to be really well built.

fyi - Lowes will replace them to, Sears didn't have the right size. Pretty much anywhere that carries the individual wrenches should replace them just ask.

Of course the reason I needed to replace my 5/16" wrench is because I was using it with a 2 ft cheater bar. What
