if i put a rearend from a 5 speed into a automatic trans turbo coupe,how much change in rpm, will this be ok?

It would be more beneficial and fun to put the 5 speed in and lose the auto tranny [Image: biggrin.gif]

THANKS Pete. changeing it to a 5speed would be nice,but alot of work.I have the parts from my smashed 87 tbird.Iread about the swap and the clutch pedal change is the worst part

it's not that bad of a job really !!just take the seats out,hardest part for me was getting to the top 2 bellhousing bolts, if i could do it any body could do it,plus theres alot of knowledgible people on here to help you out.. Guy

The top bell housing bolts are acutally kind of easy if you have a long crescent wrench. You can get them from the top of the engine that way in just a coupe of seconds [Image: smile.gif]

1988 TC 5 speed, all options and none of the damn things work! Cracked exhaust seat on #2, cracked header on #3, no crosshatching on #2 in block. EGR delete (damn tubing broke LOL)
