Yea, I thought the EQ was on the top slot also. Maybe a typo or hes replacing the clock with a gauge but theres no way your going to be fitting 2 gauges in there
If your talking about were the EQ was just pick up those crap metel gauge holders that Sunpro or Autometer sell, take off the center dash panel and there should be a roof the dash makes and you drill them in there. When you put back on the panel the boarders should cover round the gauges

i modified one of my cubby's that above the radio , where the e/q would go. i used 3 2 1/16 gauges from auto meter, the 2.06 gauges are a bit bigger then the bezel... but looks nice to me and i made it myself.

Oops! yes typo. I will removing the EQ and replacing radio with CD changer/radio. I cant find it now but there was a guy who used the a pillar pod and put it in the EQ location. It was coo because the gauges faced towards the drive. Anyone know about this?

Don't know about using a piller pod in place of a radio, piller pods I thought are too big and only mount on your windshield pillers
I remember seeing what your talking about, I think he took those indivual cheap metal gauge holders that you get when buying a sunpro gauge. But when drilling them in he angled them to the drivers seat.
Autometer makes this part that clips on to there gauge holders to angle them in any way you want, may want to look into that. I saw them in a JEGs mag
Now that I think about it I wonder if he did use a two gauge one size fits all piller pod and just put it in sideways, If you can try measuring a piller pod from Sunpro at a store then measure out the hole were the EQ goes.

Dunno if it helps but you could always fab up a mounting braket out of MDF or sumthing like it maybe even plexi that angles the gauges toward you and then cover it in fleece and cover the fleece in fiberglass resin to make it nice looking then just bolt it behind the dash bezel. If i had some fiber glass resin still around id fab one up fast to show ya. But unfortunetly i havent bought any here latley since i built the dash for my brothers old mazda. LOL this is the only pic i got left of it! Troll Hair FTW!
