Has anyone used this tool before? I bought the cheapy plastic disconnect tool.. but it's too dam wide to get in between the conpressor housing and the fitting.. Looking at the following and wondering if anyone else has any experiance with it.. guess for $11 i can just try it..

I have the plastic set also. On the compressor spring locks I cut a section of thin rigid plastic tubing I had in the garage junk box to fit in the available space at the connector, cut it to fit the diameter of the steel tubing and forced it into the spring lock with. Having said that, I have no experience with the tool you mention but if it fits in that space I will buy one.

I have a couple different sized tools like you have linked. They work fine for me but some places are too tight/cluttered to use them so I have a set of the cheapy, small plastic tools also

I bought a set of the plastic ones made by ilco? from sears. They work great. They even remove the fittings that has dirt and other gunk caked inside them.
