I was wondering if this would work in my 86 5spd. Since i have upgraded to an 88's VAM and NOT the computer, i was wondering if I could just get a air/fuel guage, upgrade the fuel pump, and get a fuel pressure regulator to tune the mixture so that it wouldn't run lean. I think this would work. Mainly, i just don't want to install a new computer and all the sensors and crap that goes along with it.

just put the small vam back in it and save yourself even more work and $$. I don't think adjusting fuel pressure is gonna work well for trying to compensate VAM sizes

Good judgement comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
