If I splice a on/off switch in the F/P wire to the EEC will it turn it on/off or just the signal? Just trying to avoid running anymore wires through the firewall, thanks.

Grounding pin 22 at the computer completes the circuit for the F/P relay, so the pump should run. This assumes the ign sw is on and the EEC relay is energized, as it feeds voltage to the F/P relay and the EEC provides a ground path.
