I am about to drop the tank on my car have a Bosh unit going in. Is there any drawback to not using a Walbro pump. I will not be doing any mods to this almost perfect coupe. Also did all 88s have a serv engine soon light mine does not come on at start up?
Also my anti lock light stays on and the brakes work fine.

Yes to ses light. I use a 255 in all my ford builds. I have used bosch pumps on stock instillations with very little problems. Just make shure you change the fuel hose in the tank with a nigh quality brand. They have a nasty habit of splitting. If you have the option spring for the 255.

Yeah and sooner or later that GO FAST, MOD. Bug is going to bite. Then you wish you would have used the Walbro 255HP.
