Do EFI fox mustangs use the same in tank fuel pump as a T-bird?

When I ordered my walbro 255hp kit it was the same part number for the T-bird and the 5.0 efi mustangs, installed with no problems. So I assume its the same pump.

Pump is the same, sock I believe is different.

Correct.... filter sock is unique to the Tbird.

the difference is tbirds cut out around hard turns my lincoln lsc did it i wanted to swap it out for a mustang tank so im guessing if u put a mustang sock on it should be good..
Complete custom downpipe to tail pipe 3in exhaust, ranger cam, cran double valve springs, stock dsm bov switchin out for a good aftermarket, cone filter, fmi 2.5in piping, walbro 342hp, aeromotive fpr, fuel pressure 45 base, 17in cobra R's, steel braided oil feed line, 96lb injectors, megasquirt 1 v2.2, msd blaster 2 coil 86 t3 48, innovative lc1 wideband,

so the mustang tank and tbird tanks are different but the mustang tank will bolt in to a tbird right..
