Fuel pressure gauge

I plan on getting a digital fuel pressure gauge to compliment my Walbro and Kirban. Doing some research, I'm going to remove my Shrader valve and put that NPT/AN fitting on it. What size is that again?

When I put the fitting in, will I need to coat the thread with something, or just screw it in?

Check with summit racing, i just bought the digital gage myself and you will need a sender.im going into the fuel rail thru a braided line to the sender then to the gage.autometer had the fittings i needed.I wouldnt use tape. i use thread sealant with teflon.braided line and fittings from autometer.i wouldnt think you would go thru the schrader as i was told.

All I'm Saying is went through 2!! not 1 but 2 of those "Ford" schrader valve adaptrs. through accel..The firs one I thought was a defect and I caught the leak in time...The second one I didn't catch in time and now I don't have a car ne more [Image: frown.gif] so I would tap into te fuel rail using something a little stronger. That small thin adapter piece is like pot metal crap. Long story shortbecareful w/ that accl part. Bye the wat the par numbr is:310-74725

I'm so sorry to hear about that, my condolences to the car. Where else could the fuel rail be tapped into? Oh, what if I got one of those pressure adjusters with the port for a gauge, like BBK or Aeromotive? That would work with a digital gauge sender huh?

Wait, I put some thought into something. I want to confirm about the different adapters jeffg and ford_nation are talking about, if they're actually different. Here are some pictures. Is this what either of you are talking about? This was what I was originally talking about.

Where can I get liquid teflon thread sealant for this installation?

Ok you can get thread sealer at a auto parts store .If your going to run the digital gage. The adapter will have two male ends, similar to your first pic but with two male ends.1/8 pipe i beleive other end will be bigger to fit the braided line you will run to your sender.i will try to get some pics up for you later of what they are.
