I have a Kirban fpr that I am planning on installing soon and my friend gave me a summit racing fuel pressure gauge that he had and never used. He doesn't know anything about it or how to use it and neither do I. Here is a picture of the gauge and its connection.

Now i am not sure what kind of connector I would need so that i can hook it up to the schrader valve so i can install my kirban. I dont even know if this gauge will work. I just wanted to see if anyone could help me or give me a link to an adapter that would work or show me a gauge that I could get that would work easier and better. Thanks!

That looks mechanical... right? Which means running a line to whereever you install the gauge... i.e. the dash.

I wouldn't plumb my gas all the way into my cabin. Maybe I'm not seeing it right.

Yea its a mechanical gauge. But i wasn't looking to install this one in my car. Sorry i didnt say that. I just wanted to use it to set the base fuel pressure for the kirban and thats all. I was probably going to get an electrical autometer gauge to mount in my car for later. Right now i just want to install the fpr.

Like RDog said all you need is a pipe fitting, if you have a good plumbing supply store they should have it. You need a 1/16" NPT Male X 1/8" NPT Female adapter. If you get it from jegs the number is 555-41062 for ~$3.50.

Is that all i need then is just an adapter from jegs or home depot? or do i need another piece to connect it to the schrader valve? The main thing that i am wondering about is that it seems like there is a screw in the connector on the gauge and i dont know what to do about that.

With the fitting i'm refering to, you will have to unscrew the schrader valve from the fuel rail. Then you screw the fitting in with the guage on the other end.

Don't worry about the screw in the connector. Most guages will have that.
