i just tested my base fuel pressure with two different gauges and its 42psi base...56psi with 14psi boost 58psi f/p with 16psi boost
is my regulator going south on me?...would this explain the rich condition im having (rough idle - lots of carbon on plugs) and the bogging?

I don't think fuel pressure is the problem. 42 is in the range, but let me ask if this was with the vacuum line to the FPR connected, or disconnected.

You need a gauge to properly set it. If you don't have one and don't want to fork over $40 for one, your only option is to find a friend that has one or can otherwise get access to one.

James, it sounds like your fuel system is in great shape to me. 42 psi base is just fine.

Check the resistance of the ECT. It should be around 24.3K ohms at 86 *F and 5.4K ohms at 158*F. A bad one doesn't always set a code.
I'm e-mailing some info.

Jabobia, have you run any codes? It may help you determine the cause of your rich condition.

The next two mods are a guttted upper, and the GN intercooler, which I have but only need to install.
