Turn your key "on" but don't start it, the fuel pump will prime. Run and look under your hood and see where the fuel is gushing out of. 9 times out of 10 a fuel leak is the injector (bad o-rings, injector itself, or fuel rail). If for some reason there is nothing underhood (check like 12 times BTW), start looking under the car. The fuel line passes under the driveline from pass to driver side, you might have scuffed it on something. Let us know what you find.

A leak bad enough to notice as bad gas mileage will be EASY to spot, as there will be gas everywhere, and you will be able to smell it from 10 feet away.

If you have you foot into alot & run up the turbo, it'll suck gas like you drinking a coke on a 100 degree day - real fast. It also dependes on of its stop & go traffic, having the AC on, etc.

Well, I guess I just need that gas saving device...he he. No leaky. I can sometimes smell fuel inside the car but as far as I know, this may not be a problem...

If you can smell fuel you have a problem. Don't ignore it.

What should I do, I can't seem to find any leaks, except the injectors, I have yet to check those. They prolly need service.

Injectors are a common source of leaks

Pressurize the system as I described above - Key off - Key on and then use eyes and nose to investigate the injectors. Or see the diagram in step 1. of the Fuel System Diagnostics for a way to make the pump run while you are under the hood. Neat how I keep coming back to those diagnostics isn't it! One thing that I just thought of that happened to me here awhile back. When you go and drop the tank, pull the fuel pump out and check the little hose that goes from the pump to the metal lines in the braket. If the little "S" shaped hose has swollen up, then that will slow the amount of fuel to the injectors. The best way to test the hose is to have the tank out of the car and the pump braket out of the tank. If the hose is really soft and kinda sticky, then the hose is crap and you need to change it. You can get just a little peice from the parts house down the street. Just drop the tank when it is near empty so that it is lighter and easier to handle.

Let me know if you still need the sending unit.
