Im taking apart the old 88 t bird and one of the things on my list to replace is the front struts. What options are out there not something to expensive and something that will ride good.? Anyone have pictures or advice on what I should do.?

Well, you can use the standard KYB replacement struts. I have used them before, but I felt they were too soft, but that is just me. I replaced them with a set of orange Konis for an SN-95 Mustang, much better for my setup

I am running the KYB GR-2 struts and matching shocks.
Stiffer than the original ride but I don't lose a cap on New England roads when they get bumpy.
I highly recommend changing the coil springs with the new dampers.

Is there an adapter bracket the I will need to make this work?

No. The SN95 front struts are longer than Mustang Foxbody. The Thunderbird has longer front struts similar to the SN95.
Edit: There is a bracket for the rear shocks you can get to use the shorter shocks off a Mustang for more choices.
