Front mount questions on a 86

got my and front mount, was gonna throw it in the the turbo coupe seeing how pre 87 didnt have one. but my question is can i run 20-24 pounds after i get the front mount installed?

That will depend more on fuel quantity and octane more than the FMIC.
You're next mod needs to be a wideband so you can monitor what happens when you make changes so you don't hurt anything.

If you have none..than 15psi would be the max..they are many details that have to addressed to run 20+psi.

i only have a eletronic boost controller and k and n filter kit not yet installed otherwise its a stock motor with only 98000 miles on it

i ordered a wide band today and also bought a ranger roller cam. The cam will be installed most likely next month or the month after. the wideband will be here in a week or two

Also i ALWAYS run premium.

If your stock can is in good shape for get the ranger roller.
You will need an adjustable can pully to make it work.

i want it to be fast. just cruise down the road and then if i want/need to race it. i got the rrc for 45 buck brand new from a freinds old project itll always be good for later
