Front Facia Attachment Question
TCKen Offline
I'm starting repairs on my 88 and was wondering how to remove the two plastic "pins" along the front lip of the front wheel opening that attach the wraparound front facia to the fender?

Also, does anyone have a source for these pins and the two-piece plastic push-pins that hold the fiber front inner fender in place. I'm missing two of each on the driver's side (took the force of the impact and either knocked these pins loose or sheared them off) Sad

Must the plastic pins will pull out. If you have the type with the center push pin, just pull the center out and then pull the rest out. Any good parts house will have a selection of all types of fasteners and pins.

are these pins usually hidden by the plastic molding peice? is so, they are plastic rivets, push the center towards the car isself and pull the outer pice out, it wil come out as one peice. plastic riverts require a plastci rivet gun, but you can put a regular plstic push pin back in when it goes back to gether
