OK guys - this might be a dumb question, but is the Ford A-arm replacement listed in Summit for the Mustang the same as the T-Bird? I just wondered if it would fit, and if there would be any problems. This would sure be an economical and easy way to replace the bushings and ball joints.
In addition, I think I remember someone saying that the TC had urethane bushings... True?
Thanks in advance for the help....

No, they are different. The TC has a wider track due to longer a arms. They TC ones can be used on a Mustang for handleing but not vise versa.
All the TC's I have owned have had poly sway bar bushings but not control arm bushings.

What year is your TC? The 83-86 TBirds had the same front control arms as the Mustang. I've swapped out several sets.. They changed in 87-88 to the slightly longer ones.....

Actually in a way GT350R & Chuck W are both correct.
The TC A-arms are longer than the 79-93 Mustang's by about 3/4"
The 94-95 Mustang control arms are the same as the 87-88 TC.

yes the 87-88 TC arms are the same length as the SN-95 Mustangs....to match the rear axles which are the same width.
The earlier TC's used the longer rear axles, but used a rotor w/ a taller hat than the Mustang. When Ford did the 93 Cobra they used the TC rear axles/brakes, but instead of using the 87-88 TC front control arms, they used a different rotor...."Hmmm..how difficult can we make this?"...Go figure.
