front control arm ???'s

I did a search, but did not really find what I was looking for. I just purchased a set of 03 cobra replicas in 17x9. The rears fit good, but I am not too happy with the fronts. The tires just sit on the edge of the fender, not what I like to see. I would like to tuck them underneath. I read that the mustang control arms up to 93 were approx 3/4 of an inch shorter. Besides a little worse handling, is there any reason I would not want to put the mustang ones in? Thanks for any help

youll need mustang tie rod ends

you wont even notice a difference in handing to be honest
