I have searched the forum repeatedly looking for a solution but have yet to find one. Is there any way to upgrade the front brake rotors to slotted rotors while retaining stock size, ABS functionality, and a four lug bolt pattern? I am of the theory that when something is broke don't just fix it, make it better. Is there anything offered by Ford Motorsports along these lines? Anybody have any experience with this?

If you are keeping your ABS functional, you can take the exiter (ABS) ring off your old rotors. Any 87'-93' 5.0 Mustang front rotors (slotted/cross drilled)will work. I have a set if you are interested. I'm changing my 86' TC to 5 lug.

Are your rotors used? What does removing and replacing the exiter ring entail? Is this something that has to be done by a machine shop? Are the rotors you have slotted or both drilled and slotted? How much do you want for them? Thanks for the info.

That ring will not go on to Mustang rotors...I have tried, there is a ringland machined into the back of the hub for the ring to sit in..the Mustang rotors don't have one.
