Well I installed a 130a alternator. It had a bad regulator and blew my headlights and battery. I am beginning to think my TFI as well because it has a miss again and is starting to stall at stops.
Question is... could it have fried the PIP as well? Anything else I can check?

Do a continuous memory code scan (CM is the second part of the KOEO test, after the separator pulse). Code 14 = intermittent loss of PIP signal (2 or more consecutive PIP pulses missing), Code 16 = IDM failure = TFI not firing the coil when commanded. Sometimes, failing PIP and / or TFI dont set codes, sometimes they do.
