I just wanted to give an update on my project vehicle. Some of you gave me direction that allowed me to learn about the 2.3 turbo engine. Thanks.
After much trial and error, I found the combination that worked. It is an 85 Turbocoupe engine but I have salvaged parts from an 87 Turbocoupe. I found that there were numerous changes in those years. When I finally got some bad sensors replaced, and plugged in the 87 ECU, the truck started up and ran like a champ.
I still need to fine tune but it runs badassed. I have lowered the boost because it was plum scary in this hot rod.

Can someone tell this old fool how to post photos?
I select the photos but the “ post reply” button never is highlighted so I can post them.
It seems to be the same format as some other forums but I can get it to work.

On the bottom of the posting page you can "browse" for your saved photo, then you have to add attachment, the button on the right, and after that I think there is a upload button or something. When I do it, I never pay attention to what the buttons say, but then you can hit "preview" at the bottom to make sure everything looks correct. After that simply hit post new thread. It took me a while as well, but once you do it, piece of cake. Hope this helps
