I've lowered my car alot. I have SN95 Mustang lowering springs (front only) which drop a Mustang 1.25" but it lowered the Bird way more. Rears are stock height SN95 incase anyone is wondering (sits level so far).

I know the Mustang guys go with Fox struts when they lower their SN95. Therefore, I'm wondering if I should do the same.
I'VE READ THAT SOME FOX STRUTS DON'T WORK WITH SN95 SPINDLES WHICH LEAVES ME WONDERING.
Anyway, I've been looking around the web for a good deal on struts but I don't want to buy something I can't use. Has anyone done a Fox strut swap ?

P.S
I already know I need the Maximum Motorsport Caster Camber Plates

UPDATE:
I've recieved info from a Mustang Board member (lol, I said Member Smile )
The SN95 spindles are thinner. Therefore, a spacer must be used with the Fox Struts.

I've searched Google and found that its actually the 4 cylider Mustang struts that are made wider at the spindle mount. I'm left to believe that some strut manufactures just make a universal strut for both V8 and 4 banger applications. Thats why I've read some people have issues with fitment/ the reason for the spacer.
Who knows ???

What can you do for upper strut mounts when I want to run some fox stang front KYBs with stock spindles and contol arms. But, I had boughten a Ford Racing lowering spring kit for an 83-86 I believe ( The guy said it would be a 1 1/2 drop for a TC... I have the 302. Got them at the All Ford Nationals in Carlisle years ago. I hope they fit! People seem to think they will on previous posts. I just dont have the money for caster/camber plates yet. plus I have the rear suspension to deal with too. I have an 8.8 waiting for it. Regarding insulators(Rear, Front if applicable) what Mustang/ Mark VII/ Cougar should I get them for, and where from? Thanks sooo much if you can help me!!! PS.. Rear sway bar bushings and links What and Where can I find them for the TC rear end.
