here are the pictures as promised. notice the slotted front hole on the shock tower. also note that one plate will need to be disassembled from the rest of the assembly, flipped upside down and then reassembled. this is due to the fact that mustang shock towers have the single bolt on the front of one side and on the back of the other while t-birds have the single bolt on the front of both sides.
i made this mod because mustang CC plates are a lot easier to come by used and they're cheaper. you need the '79-'89 plates and that's great because they are the most common. i used a die grinder with a small carbide cutter to elongate the front holes. the rear holes do not need to be modified.
