Well I went to Ford Parts Dept today to get a price on the "Imput Retainer" I need. They want $138.75 for the part! I am sure it was the right part cause they showed me a pic. This makes me so mad why the hell dont I just spend a pinch more and get a whole T5 rebuild kit while I am at it! Is there any way to get this part cheaper? Can I just have my current imput shaft retainer "resurfaced"? Sorry I had to vent I am working my arse off this week just so I can buy stuff to fix my car and not have a cent left over not even for gas! I still gotta buy the clutch, clutch fork and that damn retainer. If i get all this stuff fixed and I can drive the car for a six months without and major probs "a major prob to me is something that costs a lot to fix even if you do it yourslef" I will be the most happy man alive! Anyone got any imput?

Also who sells decent aftermarket motor mounts for an 87TC?

I hate to rain on your parade, but that one won't work. The ones for the TC transmisson are different, the bearing retainer is actually larger. Hanlon Motor Sports has the orig replacement. 610-469-2695 Bought one from them a couple of years ago.
