Where are you looking? The two orange wires, one to each light, are spliced together in the harness or at a connector and one orange wire goes to the factory switch. The black wire is ground. You want to cut the orange wire and run it to the relay coil so the switch will turn on the relay.

ok after reading write up about adding relay to fog lights

i see that the only thing i needed to do was splice into the tan/orange wire right? since im using there fog light harness
and run hot and ground from there harness

now that i have done that my fog lights will light up on there own and not by switch

but when first hooked up wont come on until headlight come on like factory but after 10 -15 will come on with out headlights being on

what am i doing wrong

Hard to say...... you need to give a DETAILED discription of how you wired it up. I dont understand exactly what you did.

ok i brought some new fog lights that came with a relay

so what i want to do is run the new lights with wire harness to stock fog switch

i read the write up on how to add relay to fog lights

so i found the tan/orange wire and ran the wire to the wire that would cut the lights on from the new fog's harness then ran hot wire and ground wire from the new harness

is this correct using aftermarket fog's with relay

It still isnt clear what you did, so it is hard to help..... can you post a wiring doagram showing exactly what you did?

ok lemme see how to explain this. the new fog lights came with a relay and i wana use the stock switch so i read the faq on adding a relay to fogs so what i did was found the tan and orange wire and connected to new fog harness but now my fogs will cut on at anytime? so basically i have the tan and orange wire hooked to the wire that would power fogs on new harness

Take a look at the relay and it should be connected like this:

T/O wire from fog light switch to relay terminal 85
Ground wire to relay terminal 86
+12v from battery (should be fused, 10 amp) to relay terminal 87
Wire from fog lights to relay terminal 30

Note: Relay terminals as follows,
87, 30 relay switch
85, 86 relay coil
Your harness may be connected to the relay somewhat differently, just be sure that the T/O wire (fog light switch) is connected to the relay coil and the other coil terminal is grounded, that the power wire is connected to the relay switch and the fog lights are connected to the other relay switch terminal.
