Fly in formation to Carlisle 05' ???

Hey guys and gals,
I live in central OH and was wondering if anyone heading to Carlisle this year would be taking I-70E. If so does anyone want to work out a schedule to meet up along the way and fly in together? Just thought it would be neat to have several birds rolling down the freeway “in formation". Not sure if anyone would be interested in something like this, but if so chime in and we'll try and work out the details.

That would be fine, I was thinking if anyone wanted to we could try to meet as we go. We could then grow in number and regroup south of Pittsburg, that way if anyone missed the train or just wanted to meet up there we could all still ride in together. I don't know just something I was thinking about.

Sounds fun. You can add a cat to the flock of birds... I'm doing a full rebuild on her this sunday...won't get into details atm, suffice to say she knocks like there's no tomorrow. But she should be broken back in in time. Anyone heading there from around Oklahoma?

New Stanton is a great meeting point (and 8 miles from my house). This is where I-70, and the PA turnpipe meet up. I believe the Merkur guys usually join up their convoys there.

I wont be able to drive out until Saturday morning, but wish I could join you guys.

Man, I wish I could go. Unfortunately I will be deployed.... Probably will no longer have a TC anymore at that point either. Have fun at Carlisle guys, my wife will be back there, I will try to convince her to go and get some pics of all the cars.

anyone else want to join us? I would like to figure out if this is a go or not so we can try and figure out the details if it is a go. I just thought it might be neat to pass people on the freeway not with one bird but several. I am sure we would turn some heads. June is just to far away.
