Finished dash gauges..

You all remember that I painted my dash gauges fluorescent orange this winter to match the Autometer gauges, well here they are installed and finished. I ended up removing the speedo and tach needles and removing the white paint from the undersides and replacing it with the orange. The dash lights shine through them nicely at night like this much better than simply painting the tops of the needles.

I just got a lucky shot of the temp gauge in the middle of the range. I just got back from a spirited drive and it started to go up. Normally it sits near the bottom of the normal range, but if I sit a long time running, it will rise up to near the top and the fan kicks on. I have the Autometer temp gauge in the trio, but I'm waiting for my friend to finish up a T Stat spacer for the temp sensor. Once that is done, I can hook that up and compare both gauges. I wanted to keep the factory gauge working as well to compare both.

looks great ! glad to since a nice clean install!
i have my gauges in the cubby area too.
i ended up putting my temp sensor in the spot where the climate control switch was in the heater. and i just moved my ECT sensor for the computer in line with that hose coming out of the t-stat housing. very accurate readings now.
