This will be the car's first pass down the dragstrip. Next weekend, October 14 for a test and tune. My dad is going to flog his vette and I think some other friends are going to tag along too. I'm pretty excited. I've had to do some upgrades but haven't put too many on. I also have a tuneup done and the car runs better, smoother, revs quicker, makes more power and gets better mileage than it has since I've owned it - 31.3 mpg last tank.
After the day at the drags I'm going to pay attention to its exterior. It really looks like a POS inside and out. My parts car survived the F3 Tornado that hit my parents house in August so the interior will still be used, the only thing damaged was the windshield - had a tree branch through it but it didn't hit anything else, just broke the glass. The exterior took a beating but I wasn't going to use any of that anyway. It hit a deer a few years earlier that did most of the damage.
