Ok ive just been thinking has anybody ever moved there turbo into there fender? ive seen it done on v8s but not a 2.3t
88tc 5spd new paint, cobra r rims, mods are :header back exhaust 3inc to 2.5 duals, jdm t3/t4 stage 3 turbo 20psi,jdm external wastegate, k&n filter on vam, fmic, new bottom end .422 lift cam, c4 trans being built

The closer you are to the manifold (header or original cast) the better. The turbine section relies on heat just as much, if not more than exhaust pressure to spin the the turbine. I've seen some mounted way back under the rear end, only for spacing considerations. The best Turbo installations include a titanium blanket for the turbine housing and titanium wrap for the down pipe. This allows the heat to turn the turbine shaft faster, while keeping the heat out of the engine compartment. Moving the turbo out into the fender will do more harm than good, from a performance outlook.

ok well my next question who has the best reasonable priced headers?

Right now, I think Stinger is the reasonable answer. Bo-Port also has a good one, but cost and waiting time are factors. Unfortunatly, 40BoB is out of business.
