Felpro 8993PT-1coolant hole Question(Long)

Well I finally got the head back from the shop (valve job & new cam)! And I'm all set to put it on when I put the gasket on to check fit I notice that the holes for the coolant are only 1/8 inch on the intake side & 1/4 quarter inch on the exhaust side! Way smaller than the holes in the block & head. What do I do? Do I just leave it alone or open the holes alittle more or what? I didn't read anything about this when I searched on the HG replacement here. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Steve
p.s. this is my first head job so please be gentle:-)

Look on the side of the gasket that is sort of striped - two tone blue. On one end will be embossed: "FRONT-UP". As long as you position it accordingly, everything will be fine.

They are smaller on purpose. The same reason that the t-stat opens and shuts. The small holes restrict flow so the coolant can actually pull the heat and maintain a certain
temp.
