Explorer sunvisors....

For those that didn't know it, Explorer sunvisors are a direct bolt in swap for our cars. I got mine from I believe a '99. Even the plug for the lights are a match. Plus, they are generally in great shape as opposed to our 23 year old (and older) visors, plus, they have the bonus visor on each side for front and side sun blockage. If you get them, get the visors and the clips for the visors to snap into. As I stated, direct swap for the visors and the clips.

That is amazing that Ford left something alone for that long!

Once they found out that they interchanged, they redesigned them.

An update, for anyone who comes along and finds this old thread. I purchased a set of sunvisors off ebay that are supposed to fit 1995 - 2001 Explorer and they do not fit my car. The outboard mount and the electrical connector is fine but the inboard plastic support piece is way off and the end of the visor hits the mount for the sunroof switch/dome lights so I cannot use them. Maybe the OP didn't have a sunroof. Kind of a letdown because my visors are ratty and these look real nice.
