I need a new exhaust system on my 88t/c from the cat back. Looking in the summit catalog, they sell a system for a 88 Mustang, Think it would fit?

I used a Dynamax Mustang GT, 93 & earlier system on mine. Got it from summit several years ago. It will be short behind the rear axle. I used some polished SS tubing to extend mine back

LX tails come out straight and the GT tails have turn downs.

I went with:
Flowmaster 15805 Exhaust (I liked the turn down tips) and a pair of Dynomax 17272 Ultra Flo Mufflers
With...
Stingers DP, int, an Y pipes and hi flow cat.
I told the shop that there would need to be some welded on after the axle and before the tips and they took care of the rest. WOW, opened it right up!

If you plan to do anything to make more HP, the exhaust system is where to start, period.
If you are going to keep it stock, then go 2".
