Came across this site.. Always wanted to see an actual rebuild of a T5 to see if I wanted to attempt one.. but didn't want to shell out the $15 or $20 for the Hanlon video.. this gives a good step by step with real photos..

We rebuilt a few t-5's at school,they are so easy as long as you have the right tools,they have lots of snap rings which can become annoying because all of them are different.Now auto trnnys,they are a real PITA to rebuild,anyone who rebuilds auto trans for a living has my respect.We rebuilt a 41TE chrysler trans which came in neons and can get real confusing REAL quick.
