Ok, i put that stupid 10% Ethanol gas in my TC a couple days ago, and i started it, drove it around the gas pump, and it died. I think it may be the gas, but i'm not sure, what's your thoughts on it? I've heard that the Ethanol gas likes to get all the Varnish and crap off of the bottom of the tank, and it clogs up the fuel filter... I dont know, anyone??

We have 10% ethanol in our premium gas here all year (also MBTE at around 10% in some brands). Been using the 10% ethanol blend for 5 years with zero problems, other than slightly reduced gas mileage compared to 100% gasoline.

I doubt the gas is the problem. Start with the obvious.... do you have correct fuel pressure?, do you have spark? is the timing belt intact? Is the cam timing correct (belt may have skipped a tooth or 2), is the dist. rotor turning during crank (possible dist drive gear chewed)?

I'd agree with Jeff.....I've been running Sunoco Ultra 94 in my Bird as long as it's been available and it's had 10% ethanol in it for the past 5 years at least....no problems at all. Probably just a coincidence the car died on you. Does the pump run at all? You should be able to hera it cycle when you turn the key to the run position.

I doubt that it is the gas unless the gas is bad, water in it. It is not because not has ethanol in it, that is for sure.
