My eq does not work at all. The radio won't play without the eq but the radio at least has power. The eq has now power at all.Does anyone know where I can get a matching eq from the 88 turbo coupe

Are you sure the power button is being depressed all the way?Mine didnt work until I pushed the power button(on EQ)in and broke off a toothpick in the side of the button to hold it.From what I hear it's a common problem. Also if that doesnt do it,be sure to check the ground wire.If none of this helps,pm me.I have a working eq that I'll get rid of cheap(Replacing with guages).Unused Toothpick included!!!

Thats funny. At first mine worked with a sliver of wood too. Then, the other day when we had it out of the dash and were using the power tester to find out why the rear speakers weren't working it just quit working all together. Everything looks attached , it just won't work. I'm gonna run it to an electrnics guy I know but if it's dead, I'd love to buy yours. Im trying to keep all original.

I've got a thumbtack holding my EQ power button in. Not that helps you solve your problem, I just never geussed that this is a common problem/solution.

I have a small piece of heavy paper folded holding my eq button on. When it started coming out I lost one channel then another a day later then everything quit a couple of days later. Repositioned paper and tunes have been working for 3 months.
