Does anyone have a picture of what an '85 mount is supposed to be?

Will the intake off the 87 fit my t3 though? I really want to use the 87's intercooler but I don't know how I could make it work. The flange is different right

the t3 will work with the 87 intake and the factory 87 IC youll just have to get a svo compressor outlet or modify your original one.

Yea it'll be better to use the 87 upper intake manifold as there lower to level the intercooler for hood to intercooler clearence, your going to need the valve cover from the 87 though.

If you decide to keep the 85 upper intake that'll be ok too though you may have to remove the rubber seal off the hood of the 87 to keep everything right, and the intercooler mount won't fit Sad

When I changed my old 85 around to a top mount, I just unbolted the discharge tube and cut it making my own flange to connect the intercooler too. You can see in the pic how it turned out:

Then if I remember I went down and had to buy a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 ID hose or something like that, was safely able to run 20psi with that Big Grin

I like the way that looks. Keeps you from having to chop up the turbo its self. Awesome. Anybody gotta spare one of those? Lol
