Engine Pull

Well I yanked the engine. I had One casualty that I know about . The High pressure side of the power steering tube was mistakenly left attached. See Pic. after it was lowered again it kinked to hell .. oh well.. I should have been driving this bitch 5 weeks ago except for the stinkin Oil pan letting go .. I got the old oil pan off and will pick up another along with a complete engine I found in RI for 100 bucks that ran but was pulled and replaced by a 5.0 I got 4 weekends left to finish before I move to VA. Man is the stress killing me. 6 weekends of rain in a row here and the garage I have it in floods with 3 inches of water right under the car every rain.

Hurry up and get down here. Skys are clear, no rain or snow, and in the low 80's.

Yeah I know ..my wife has been workin there for the 6 weeks. I couldn't work on my car this past weekend because she flew up to see me. Cant complain about that though, I got the other engine cleaned [Image: smile.gif]

Update ...bought a complete 87 engine with 5 speed today for 150 bucks at a jy 30 miles from me. It was running when pulled and replaced by a 5.0. so I got my oil pan and a complete engine to boot. The guy at the JY said it was a racing engine and wanted 250.. thank god my bud was his friend and talked him back down to what I had in my pocket and close to what the jy owner's son had orig quoted. Told us next time not to listen to hi dumass son. LMAO
The Oil pan gasket I bought is 2 pieces??? hope its the right one 32 bucks including tax
so now I will yank the jy engine apart tomorrow after a fishing tounament at 10 AM and get my bird rollin down to VA.
Hope you guys are havin a great time in ford heaven.. I wont and cant read the posts about it... makes me ill I an not able to meet you guys. There is always next year.
