Emergency Brake Cable Release Spring

OK, took the bird for a drive today and heard something dragging underneath. When I got home I discovered that the emergency brake cable release spring had disconnected at one end (the long spring underneath the car. However, I can't find, or even know where to look for, where the end of the spring attaches. I know there has to be a hole or a bracket to attach it to, but I can't find it. The hooked end is still attached to the release lever but the curly-que end is unattached. Where in the heck do I need to look to find that attachment point?

Thanks Pete. Between you and Dan I now know where to look for the attachment point. Have to jack up the car anyway to change the oil so I'll do it all then.
