How can I eliminate the equalizer? I have an aftermarket head unit, so I don't need it.
I'm going to mount guages in place of the eq.
Thanks

There is a second harness connector that will bypass the equalizer and connects directly to the speaker. You will have to search for it a bit. You can then remove the equalizer and install the factory block off plate.

This, it's usually in the upper right corner of the opening, be sure to disconnect the trunk amp or you'll get smoke from it(wanna see my T-Shirt?)...

BTW there is no factory block off plate, without the EQ there is a small storage well in it's place...

In the trunk on drivers side drop down panel behind rear seat, sort of football shaped... If equipped, the lighted entry or keyless entry module will also be on this panel...
