Pulled 08 error code (Outside/Recirculation Current) on 88 electronic climate control panel.
Got basic wiring diagram.
Need some troubleshooting instructions on how to check Outside/Recirculation current.
Thanks

Disconnect passenger side connector J-1 from control unit. Turn ignition switch off, then on, and redo self test. If 08 displayed, replace control unit. If not displayed reconnect connector J-1 to control unit and disconnect connector at outside air/recirc door actuator, turn ignition off then on and rerun self test. If 08 displayed check wiring harness to actuator for shorts or open wires and rerun self test. If 08 not displayed replace actuator .
The 08 generally means that the actuator is having a hard time moving and drawing too much power and needs to be freed up or replaced.
