EGR VALVE Location

Don’t mean to be under-informed but I got a 84 code
From my code reader. And I am trying to locate the 
Valve . I recently purchased this 1988 Turbocoupe and the previous owner did a lot of modifications that were removing different emissions devices and I’m not sure what all he removed the parts that were in the pool removed we’re supposed to be there but I don’t think I have them so I need some help trying to find locations on the car and what they look like thanks for all the help.

A little late

Stock location... other picture is a rotated upper and the egr is on the opposite side.

There is also a vacuum/switch device in the passenger wheelhouse/firewall area (can follow the egr valve vacuum line if still installed).

most people delete the EGR valve on these I'd just ignore the code personally since it doesn't effect anything

most people delete the EGR valve on these I'd just ignore the code personally since it doesn't effect anything

Mine is disconnect too it's just there for the kids that do our State Inspections. In a few years we won't need an inspection.
