Are there any other turbo coupe owners in the Edmonton area registered here? It would be realy nice to actualy share this enthusiasm with someone in the area and get to see more tc's in action. I know there are at least two other tc's in the city. One even lives just down the street, but I'm a tad weary of just coming up to a complete stranger and asking him about the car in his garage. I bit wonky, if you ask me. Even in Calgary, it would be cool to get together with some tc and other 2.3turbo owners.

88 TC auto silver full load/sunroof 147K K&N cone filter, Gillis valve set at 17 lbs. This thing looks cool but is dog compared to my 87 5sp that now has motor out and is being rebuilt.(slowly)May make one killer car from these two yet.

Awesome. That's a start. Been thinking hard about doing my own engine stand project. Only problem is it's nearly impossible to find 2.3t's. And if you actualy find a tc or svo, it's gutted within hours.

Tell me about it! Around here I can't find any but there was one in the "Barginfinder" a 88 5sp for $900.00. I did find one in the JY here but prices are way out of wack! I do have one in my yard But I can't decide what I want to do with it. I may just part it out.
The motor is out and I am very slowly rebuilding it. I know I can't afford to rebuild both cars so one will probably have to go. Keep in touch. My family and I go racing in Wetaskawin every Sat. matbe we can meet up sometime.

By the way I will be at the drags tommorow at Nisku. I am not bringing the TC this time. I will be towing my buddy's 500+ hp Talon. Later...

Hey Boys,
Good to see some other enthusiasts in the area. I've got a silver 85 TC and a 86 Mustang GT with t-tops. I just finished putting a rebuilt engine into the GT.
I also just bought the 87 TC yesterday that was in the autotrader this week. I'm picking it up tomorrow for $1800 including GST. It needs a bit of work....has an oil leak (looks like from the cam cover on the drivers side) ....needs drivers side trim re-attached...needs fog lights....but overall, drives real nice....has almost new tires....has execllent black/grey leather interior and power sunroof...and the body is in pretty decent shape....just a couple of very minor rust spots.
Cheers
