Edelbrock 2.3 head?

Ok guys why dont we make a petition to build an affordable aluminum 2.3 head? I dont think Edelbrock would go for the 4 valve head but they might go for a Performer style head, something that has better flow than the factory head but is a Direct bolt up. We could also ask about a victor style that is closer in design to the Esslinger head. Maybe the could build some kind of EFI intake also? We should send this to all the 2.3 related boards and get as many people as we can to sign/E-mail this to edelbrock. We can send our car info and engine mods in a sig at the bottom of each e-mail to show them that there is performance and interest in the old 2.3!
So do you think this would be worth doing?
If so who wants to write up a official looking petition (someone who can spell better than me?)
Thanks guys

Current Chassis mods: 88 TC snow flakes with 225/60/16 SZ50 firestone tires, Almost refinished interior, TRI AX shifter, Madhatter clutch quadrant. Currently hiding the under hood wiring and hoses.

Next chassis mods: boxed control arms, Subframe connectors, 3.73 8.8 rear, Larger front brakes, and poly bushings, Welded and braced torque boxes, Rear mounted battery, WC T-5, and a stage 3 star clutch, 88TC electronic struts, And 26x10x15 slicks!

Current engine mods: GN intercooler, Dawes device set at 22psi of boost, Kenne Bell cone, fully ported e-6 manifold, gutted and ported intake, ported stock valve head, Ranger cam set -2 deg, and Full 3" exhaust with 3" magnaflow, 190 pump, a Racer Walsh adjustible cam pulley, large VAM, LA3, brown tops, and a Cheesy FPR.

Next engine mods: T3/T4 with custom Exhaust elbow, 3 1/2" down pipe, A bigger cam, Water injection, EEC tuner, 52lbr injectors, converting the GN IC to water to air IC, Crower rods, ARP main and head studs, custom header, Then a 75hp nitrous shot!

Ran 14.71 at 92mph on drag radials. New times with GN intercooler, LA3, brown tops!!!! 14.9 at 96mph on my street tires.
New times with head ,e6 and ported intake, 100 race fuel, and 28psi 13.83 at 103mph!
273rwhp and 342ftlb at 24 psi with a slipping clutch!
And it still feels slow! Thus the reason for the long list of future mods!
Looking for low 12s to high 11s
Thanks
Shawn

There is a local guy here that has a very fast vette. How does mid 6.70's at around 200mph sound for a street legal car. He builds his own aluminum heads at his machine shop. I was thinking of talking to him about making a head for our engines. I don't know how cost effective this would be but it is worth a shot. I'll have to get up there in Jan. sometime to see what he has to say.

Maybe you could print out a couple of DR.Hs diagrams (from Turboford) and show him that alot of R&D has been done. Or talk to DR.H and see if he can come up with some more pictures. It couldnt hurt.

Sounds like a great idea - is there any companies now that make a replacement head for the tc at all?```

Just Esslinger's aluminum head. $1500 bare casting and $3900 ready to bolt on.
