Id give it a shot, and I may. Even a poorly made header SHOULD flow better than the factory exhaust manifold.

Most of the headers you find on Evilbay are very much prone to cracking and failure. Tubing walls too thin, poor quality stainless, poor welding, etc.
Of course, this is just a generalization from what I've seen over the years. I've seen this header pop up from time to time, but I don't know anyone who runs one.

Once again one of the experts bring up something I should have thought about. Brian your exactly right about cracking. Even good quality stainless can be turned into scrap at the hands of a unskilled welder.

Okay, maybe I'll hold off on a header. Figure you get what you pay for. I noticed Stinger sells one, but I really don't want to rotate the turbo and change the downpipe.

You could always go with a log header.

Cheap tempts me too. The American stuff is heavy duty. Stinger makes a manifold for our cars.
