EATC question

Does the EATC module contain a battery of some sort? Whenever my car is not used for a couple of days the temperature reverts back to 75 degrees. If I use it after sitting a day or so the temperature is where it was when I shut off the car. Also, on occasion, when changing the temperature or where I direct the airflow, the display starts to flash and the temperature cannot be changed. After shutting the car off for a while all is good. I have replaced the module but this one acts up as well.
Thanks for any info,
Rick

No internal battery or any other kind of electrical storage in the EATC unit. It does have constant 12V from the car battery going to it.

Have you run the EATC self test? any codes?

Jeff: I will try the self test and see if I get any codes.
Pete: I already had seen the code list in the FAQ, I'm more annoyed by having to reset the temperature frequently.
Thanks for the help.
If I get any codes, I will post them.
