I read a post awhile back about cutting a hole in the trunk to create an access panel to the fuel pump...Wondering if I can get pictures or measurements so I can do this on mine. Was there anything under the area to be cut that I need to watch for? Thanks

That sounds pretty hokey there thunderchicken,I wouldnt recomend it.Its pretty easy to drop the tank if you have a floor jack,That way you wouldent have to worry about water getting in your trunk.

To be safe, you would have to drop the tank to cut the hole.

Like dezridin2 said, dropping the tank isn't a big deal.

Yeah, y'all are probably right...just lookin for an easier way. Anything I should know before I drop the tank? Ive been reading a lot of posts about having to drop the tank several times after installing the new pump. Also, money is an issue...dont have enough to go hog wild on the car...what do you guys think would be a better way to go...porting or turbo? I know that with the stock IHI, porting wont help me too much, but am I gonna feel a lot of lag going with a bigger turbo before I get the porting done? Eventually, Id like to do both, but cant afford to do it all at the same time. Thanks

You will get more immediate results from a larger turbo. I think the thing is to not go too big until the rest of your system can keep up. Why don't you think straight T3 for now. Porting will be more benefitial later as you need more air flow capacity.
