Drivers side oil leak

I know I seen a thread on this earlier but I can't find it now. I just changed oil in my TC and had a puddle of oil about the size of two table spoons on the garage floor. Well it was a week before I found it was oil I thought it was water from the A/C unit. I pulled the dip stick and the oil hasn't dropped from the full mark. With a flashlight it doesn't appear to be coming from the oil seperator, not does it seam to be coming from the valve cover. What else is under the back (firewall) side of the intake manifold that could be causing the leak? btw the oil filter came off easy so I don't think I spun the oil cooler (that is if it spins off)

Could be any of the following: the little manifold in the head where the oil pressure sender screws in or the oil supply line to the turbo that screws into the bottom of the same manifold. Any of the three could be loose, the oil supply line could also be cracked. It might be the low oil sensor in the side of the oil pan, driver's side. The dip stick tube could be loose in the block.
Could be a rear main crank seal. The oil cooler itself could be loose. Could also be a head gasket leak.

I think the thread you were refering to was AAARRRRGGHHH OIL LEAK!!!
that would be by me. I just tightened the valve cover and that seemed to do it. Check the easy stuff first.

I changed my Oil Pressure Sending unit this weekend and my gauge reads between the N and O on startup and stays near the middle of the gauge when up to temp and idling...instead of the bottom white and just above the red mark. Would my temp gauge respond better if I replaced it also?

You might want to consider an market temp gauge. They respond much quicker
