So in my opinion drifting is the coolest thing anyone can do with a car, I've been following drifting since I was 15, and now I'm in the process of getting my TC drift ready. I'm just curious as to what everyone else's opinion of this new and fast growing motorsport. Overall, I think it's cool and looks like a hell of a lot of fun. My only issue with it is the disproportionate amount of rice involved. I really hate how those cars sound. Maybe I'm just :grandpa:

Maybe I'm just :grandpa: A lot of the grassroots cars can sound like weed whackers or lawn mowers, but once you get into the bigger and better guys alot are running LS motors, and 2JZ's and RB26's which in my opinion sounds amazing. And a lot of drift cars do seem "rice" because they really just don't care and want to just stand out on the track.

Aside from the mass amounts of rice (as stated above), it's cool tp watch the amount of control they're able to maintain, with the rear tires being blasted into oblivion. It's just not something I personally would get into, but high 5 to the guys who do and build the required skill set.
87 TC: 5spd, started B234F head swap (overall setup changing), Quarterhorse, T3/T4 63 a/r, 3" exhaust, walbro 255, tubular front clip, 5 lug swap, 17x8 front/17x9 rear cobra r's, wilwood 4 piston calipers (rear only, for now), lightened 471lbs so far
