When do they do test and tune?It may be a bit of a stretch but what about those who run there cars, that will be at Carlisle, get together and smoke some rubber?
It will be a busy day as it is but may be fun nonetheless.Thought Id pop it up there. It may be the first time the top 25 get together....
So whats your point?

Unfortunately there isn't a drag strip near Carlisle? Beaver Springs is about 45 minutes away and I belive that is the closest. They do have eighth mile racing at South Mountain dragway sponsered by the Carlisle show but that track resembles a cow pasture more than a drag strip.
NO TC and NO headaches.

The eigtht mile strip is always an option. Especially if someone pushes the right buttons and wants to race.

I think he meant Maple Grove. Techinically it is less than one hour. Once you add in the car show traffic make it more like 1 hour and 45 minutes. It takes forever to get out of Carlisle sometimes. Beside that the local Ford dealer is having a T-bird only show Fri. evening.
NO TC and NO headaches.

We'll try to do a get together at Cecil County dragway a little later in the summer. I don't see why we couldn't get 10 car there.

I'm in for this... I just got home from the street wars bracket racing. Gave the final away with a -.009 red. On a bright spot, it went nearly 103 mph [Image: biggrin.gif]
