Hey Guys

I am currently running 235/60-15 BFG, they are just about worn out.

I can get 275/60-15 BFG for cheap...I mean cheap $100.00. Can I run these on my stock 10 holers? I know they will be taller.

Thanks

Travis

Travis,

I don't know about 275's, but I mounted a set of 255's onto my 10-holers and they fit great. The sides bulged a little. That being said, 04-06 GTO's come with 245's and the rim will hold a 275 (including DR's) with no problems. I have no idea how wide a 10-holer is, but if it's 8" I'd go for it.

What is the diameter of the new tire compared to your old tire? This will affect the final gear ratio, which will affect launch, ET and speed. There a lot more to it than $100.00

I did a little research....too tall for my combo.
I guess I will pass it by and just get the 275/50-15 BFG's

Thanks

Travis

P.S. Im thinking about 3.73 gear later. When the 7.5 breaks...

You need to be careful with the width of the BFG 275 Drag Radials. They are WIDE. I had them on my 85 with 15x8 Draglites and it was tight. I had to remove the quad shock and hammer the inner fender.

I fit 275 M/T drag radials on the back just fine. 275/45/17's. I removed the quad shocks just to be safe, but didn't have to touch the fenders.

I ran 26x10.5 et streets on ten holes a few years back. No rubbing problems.
NO TC and NO headaches.
