Down pipe of my 88 TC is broken and I need a new one. I have an almost new DP from 83 TC. So my question is, can i use that? Will a pipe from Garrett T-3 fit to IHI outlet?

I've been also thinking to upgrade my exhaust system to 3". Is there other good sources than ATR for 3" exhaust systems?

The 83 DP would probably work. You would need to elongate the holes on the 83 flange as the studs on the IHI elbow are slightly farther apart than the T3. No big deal on that, it's easy.

Sacramento Mustang stocks a couple 3" DPs, I used the one for the 86 SVO
